Before I started writing songs, I wrote poems, so I’d like to share some of them with you. Please feel free to read and comment.

Stuck on You

Tears are welling up in my eyes,
All I want to do is cry.
How could it hurt so much like this?
What did I do wrong? What did I miss?

You really mean so much to me,
And it hurts that we can never be.
I know I should just let you go,
But my heart refuses and says keep hold.

And I can’t and it’s tearing me apart,
With every second it breaks my heart.
I can’t believe I fell for you,
And though you could feel the way I do.

I was such a fool, too blind to see,
To think you could ever care for me.
I’m in a word full of pain,
And nothing will ever seem the same.

I’m stuck on you, but not for long,
Because the world does go on.
And soon I’ll break free and get through,
And eventually, I’ll get over you.

Holding On

I look upon the black night sky,
And all I do is just ask why?
Why do you do the things you do?
Why do I still hold onto you.
Why is it that I miss you so?
Why won’t you let your feelings show?

Even after I’ve cried these tears,
Swallowed whole through all my fears.
I’m suffocating, I just can’t breathe,
Look at what you’ve done to me.
I can’t escape the memory,
Of what we were supposed to be.

My feelings for you can’t seem to change,
I don’t know why, I find it strange.
I wish that we were meant to be,
But you’re too blind, you just can’t see.
Even if my wish won’t ever come true.
I just want you to know I still love you.
