About Me
Hiii! I’m Ann Ngo. I have lived in Southern California ever since I was born. My DOB is Feb. 9th, 1989. Music and performing has always been an important part of my life. I’ve been influenced by many aspects of performing. At an early age, I always loved to sing. I wasn’t the best at it, but I still loved it. With that, I joined my school choir in 4th and 5th grade.I further got into depth with music when I joined my school’s orchestra and learned how to play the violin starting in 6th grade. I started to get an understanding of music instrumentally. I started gaining my experience as a performer and my passion for music started to grow.

I stumbled across writing almost by accident. One day in 8th grade, I decided to write a poem. After I finished and re-read the poem, I realized that I had knack for it. So with that I started to write poems all the time because it was a way that I could pour out and express what I was feeling deep inside. Eventually, I turned my poem writing into song writing.

It was 9th grade when I started playing piano and I absolutely fell in love with it. At first, I was just playing songs, but as I practiced, I learned to play the piano and sing at the same time. My first song I performed was ‘A Thousand Miles’ by Vanessa Carlton which I performed at my school’s talent show sophmore year, after that night, I started to dedicate myself more with singing and playing.
My passion for performing was in full swing. I worked harder and eventually started writing, playing, and singing songs that I wrote. I began to understand why performing was so important to me. It was because through writing, singing, and playing I can feel myself shine and show the world who I am and want to be! I absolutely love everything about performing. I even gained knowledge and experience with dancing traditional Vietnamese dances and I’ve started choreographing them too for my youth group at my Church.I do this because I love music and performing, it’s a hobby I’m passionate about. I have a long way to go musically, but I just want to keep growing as a musician and performer. I know I won’t ever make it big and fulfill my dream of becoming a star, but as long as I KNOW that I’ve inspired or touched someone with my music, I’m truly happy.
